The Economics in Education programs serve teachers of kindergarten through twelfth grade, and those at the practicum level of getting their teaching certificate. The programs include seminars, graduate courses, workshops, professional conferences, curriculum materials and Internet resources.

Some programs are funded entirely by the Thomas R. Brown Foundations; others are collaborative, or are offered by collaborating organizations with partial funding from the Foundations.

Most are designed to provide teachers with grade-appropriate resources, whether introducing basic concepts to younger grades or equipping older students with analytical tools for interpretation of history and current affairs.
