Teacher Resources & Curricula
In addition to offering teacher workshops in economics, the Brown Foundations have underwritten on-line resources for teacher reference and use.

ANALYSIS ONLINE

Analysis Online, a service of The Communications Institute, is dedicated to providing objective, non-partisan analysis from many of the nation's leading academic and research institutions with a focus on economics, science, and engineering. With partial start-up funding from the Thomas R. Brown Foundations, this website is a great resource for teachers who need newsclippings or analysis on the hot topics of the day. ECONOMICS UNIVERSITY

The foundation has also underwritten the creation of Economics University, a series of on-line economics lessons for classroom use. These lessons are ideal for use with students using a computer projector or in a computer lab. There are also quizes and ready-made essay tests, and make a great refresher course for teachers. They were created jointly by Steven Reff, High School AP Economics teacher of Tucson, and Dick Brunelle, High School AP Economics teacher of Boston.
